‘Dear White People’: a Microcosmic Look at the U.S.

Richmond’s Denis Perez-Bravo reviews the series “Dear White People,” a popular show following the lives of black students at a predominantly white university. Perez-Bravo finds connections between his own experiences and those of the characters. “The show is a microcosmic look at the emotional and physical toll on a group of oppressed people in a “free” democratized environment who are trying to enact change.” Read more at Richmond Pulse.
