Sacramento Teen On Stephon Clark’s Death: ‘My Community Is Hurting’

After police killed Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man, in mid-March, his slaying left his community and others across the country deeply shaken. Sacramento teen Rachael Francois felt this anxiety, fear, and confusion among her family members, peers, and neighbors, and she beseeches others to listen. “I live in fear knowing that the next “unarmed black” male or female in the headlines could be my dad, uncle, cousin, or even myself.” Read more at Youth Radio.
