County Allocates $2m for Parks, Prioritizing ‘Building Healthy, Safe, Forward-Thinking’ Communities Through General Plan

With a new grant for improved parks and other public spaces, Kern County is tackling an ambitious goal of adopting new changes that residents have been pushing for. Also on the agenda are improved drainage systems, libraries, and pedestrian pathways. “This tells us that the county is willing to listen to the residents’ priorities to improve our communities.” Read more at South Kern Sol.
