When it Comes to Makeup, Color Matters

Merced’s Alliyah Jensen never struggled to find makeup that matched her skin because of her light pigmentation. But as she grew up, she started to realize how neglected dark skinned women are in terms of representation in the makeup industry. “Being a fair skinned woman I do not face the hardships that women of color do, but I do recognize the absence of women of color representatives.” Read more at We’Ced.
