Our migrant story

With President Donald Trump’s recent announcement that he plans to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, a massive backlash from across the nation has risen to face him. Merced’s Alejandro Murado shared a poem he wrote dedicated to all the Dreamers, praising them for their strength and encouraging them to continue fighting. “This is the country of immigrants and as such we should look out for one another and help each other rise.” Read more at We’Ced.
