The Tracks shake up the Indie rock world with a Mariachi twist

A band called The Tracks found its name in the abandoned railroad tracks in Boyle Heights where its members are from. The group derives its sound from the Mariachi and indie rock sounds of east Los Angeles. “With mariachi music, there’s a sense of passion and performance, and I think you get that when watching them live.” Read more at Boyle Heights Beat.
