On the streets of Richmond: sex trafficking versus sex work

The line between human trafficking and sex work is not always clear. In Richmond, sex workers appear in fewer numbers on the street, but advocates and police say it’s still essential to learn more about and prevent the exploitation of minors. “Young people can have many circumstances that limit their agency and ability to fully consent, such as economic strains, previous trauma, criminalization, etc.” Read more at Richmond Pulse.
