Advocates speak out against Kern’s plan to rubber-stamp dangerous drilling

Oil drilling, pipeline, fracking and other oil and gas projects could be streamlined in Kern County if local lawmakers lessen requirements for environmental reviews. Some Kern County residents and activists say that could be devastating to local communities. “Air pollution, climate change, our biological resources are all issues that local folks need to be involved in.” Read more at South Kern Sol.
