Finally — A Long Beach high school with Olympic dreams gets upgrades

A Long Beach high school with a history of training Olympians and other successful athletes is getting long-needed improvements to its sports facilities. The indoor pool room has no ventilation, the locker rooms have been abandoned and rain obliterates the fields, some students say. “It’s real hard, especially when it rains.
