Fractions of a whole

Mixed race, multicultural, multigenerational communities make up the heart of the Central Valley. Writer Maya Vannini, 16, reflects on what it means to have the cultures of Pakistan, Belgium and Italy in her family. “Growing up in the diverse Central Valley.
