How do Long Beach neighbors talk about gentrification?

A youth reporter for VoiceWaves took to the streets of Long Beach with an audio recorder to talk about gentrification and the high cost of housing. Some people refused to talk about the issue, one of the biggest challenges facing the city, but others spoke up. “More expensive businesses are moving in, like there’s expensive furniture shops that I could never afford…that most of my family could never afford.” Listen to the story at Voice Waves.
