Flying while brown: One teen’s run-ins with the TSA

Students on competitive debate teams spend many weekends traveling through airports for tournaments. For Arnay Gupta, that means enduring additional scrutiny from TSA agents who seem to see his Indian-American appearance as a reason to question his purpose.  “While I’m watching my teammates breeze through TSA, I’m usually unpacking my luggage to be searched.” Listen to Gupta’s perspective at Youth Radio.
