Kansas Street: a call for pedestrian crosswalk

Traffic on an Diego’s El Cajon Boulevard moves at a pace in keeping with its origins as the historic Route 80: fast. Civic leaders have come together in the face of rising pedestrian deaths to increase safe crossings so patrons can visit businesses on both sides of the thoroughfare without the risk they face today. “You kinda just have to run and go when there are no cars coming.” Produced by students at High Tech High School with Media Arts Center.
