Dreamers worry about our future, and our parents

President Donald Trump’s promise to increase deportations dramatically have made a generation of immigrants, the so-called Dreamers, with temporary work permits under Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program nervous about their futures. While they may ultimately be protected, their family members face even greater uncertainty. “Our parents matter the most, and I hope that the administration doesn’t see them as a threat while praising us for being courageous and studious.” Read more at Richmond Pulse.
