Protesters call out sheriff for cooperation with ICE

Community outrage over the ways local law enforcement agencies are helping federal immigration agents deport undocumented immigrants spilled over on the steps of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office in Martinez. Galvanized to counteract President Donald Trump’s push to deport more immigrants, people are urging local governments and police to protect their immigrant neighbors. “I have been talking to teachers and social workers.
