Latino youth face challenges seeking mental illness help

Depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts are difficult for any teenager. The challenge can be even greater for Latino youth, who may also be navigating cultural stigmas, language barriers and financial obstacles to asking for and receiving help. “Sometime I feel trapped by my depression, or I feel a numbness, and I’m scared I’m going to completely let that be a normal thing.” Read more at Boyle Heights Beat.
