For female farmworkers, work never stops

Alicia Benito’s work day begins long before her shift starts at a ranch picking limes in the Coachella Valley. Like many other female farmworkers, Benito’s day begins making breakfast for her three children and her day ends long after she’s done picking limes. “For women, it is harder.
