Training offers lessons on culture and healing

A movement to use cultural practices to address incarceration, medication, isolation and other problems faced by young people is underway in Kern County. Youth and community leaders are being trained to hold healing circles to empower and support one another. “Traditions and gifts are carried on through generations.
