One step at a time: a teen runner comes to terms with Trump

When the sun rose on the day after Donald Trump was elected president, UC Davis student Mazie Lewis went for a run after a sleepless night. With each mile, passing schools and vineyards, Lewis, 18, reflected on her fears and hopes for undocumented people, the environment and the nation’s education system. “I ran for all the women who came before me and worked so hard to get where we are today.” Read more at Youth Radio.
