North Richmond’s newest farm to sell fresh food

Organizers have big dreams for a new three-acre farm being built on county land in North Richmond. After years cleaning up the abandoned land, which had become a dumping ground, staff with Urban Tilth recently held a groundbreaking celebration and announced plans to create a community hub where Richmond residents can get fresh produce where its grown. “It’s not about this piece of land; it’s about what’s going to happen on this piece of land.” Read more at the Richmond Pulse.
