'It's on us': UC Merced students take control of voter registration efforts

The stakes are high this November when the country will be voting for the next president and on important state and local candidates and issues. Voter turnout is low for young Californians aged 18 to 24, and some students at the University of California in Merced are trying to get more people registered to vote.
