Youth organize ‘Black Lives Matter’ rally In Coachella

Injustice is not new. But injustice is now more visible. I feel safe in my community. Sometimes police don’t watch over people like me. These were the views shared on the steps of Coachella City Hall July 11 during a “Black Lives Matter” rally organized by local youth advocacy group Brown Mijas. “This news is showing me that my life is not as valued as I thought it was.” Read the story at Coachella Unincorporated.
