The last skaters of North Shore

Like a surfer needs the ocean, skateboarders need cement. But there is little cement in North Shore, a town along the Salton Sea in Riverside County. But local skaters are making due, making ramps out of discarded wood and abandoned pools. “Skateboarding for me is an escape from whatever is happening around me.” Read the story at Coachella Unincorporated.
