Give young people a say in Fresno’s parks

Parks and the space they provide for freewheeling play were important to Patrick Antunez’s childhood in Fresno. But as he aged, the parks did too. A recent national rating system ranked Fresno’s parks near the bottom of a list of the country’s biggest cities. “While residents have ideas about how to solve the problem, they are repeatedly left out of conversations about expanding park access.” Read Antunez’s perspective from The Know.
