'Day of Silence' calls attention to bullying

As debates around gender identity and sexual orientation spark discussions among students across the country, some schools — like Hoover High School in City Heights — have dedicated a Day of Silence to supporting those who have been bullied or stigmatized into silence. "We are silent in recognition of their forced silence. And it raises awareness of this abuse and bullying as an issue." Watch the video from Media Arts Center.
