At a recent West Contra Costa School Board Meeting, parents showed up in record numbers to voice concern about a rushed timeline and lack of community engagement over the appointment of a new superintendent. They also expressed doubts about the equitable use of bond funds at schools in different cities, and disciplinary policies in some schools.
