Yellow Brick Road Play Street unveiled in Richmond

The Richmond nonprofit Pogo Park hosted the grand opening of the Yellow Brick Road Play Street, which includes a series of parks, walking paths and a roundabout in the city’s Iron Triangle neighborhood. The street is designed with yellow bricks to mark a safe zone for walking and playing. “Play is the very essence of childhood and a critical component in closing the opportunity gap. Cities have many underutilized spaces that can be transformed to fill communities with play everywhere.” See photos on Richmond Pulse.
