Restorative Justice—returning the peace

Restorative Justice is an alternative to the court process for young adults and teens who commit petty crimes. Youth facing charges like theft, assault, and property damage can be referred to a Restorative Justice program to meet with victims, in an effort to repair the harm done and examine their behavior. Teens who experienced the program explain its function as a better alternative to juvenile detention, in a video by Media Arts Center.[youtube=https://youtu.be/V8C0bNOiFKQ]
