Central Valley youth say Pope’s message has local impact

California is home not only to a large population of Latino Catholics, but also to some of the most pressing issues raised by the Pope – including climate change and immigration. Youth living in the Central Valley say their communities are responding to the Pope’s progressive stance on these issues. I’m seeing more community organizations and faith-based groups lead the call to action on environmental justice and I know that many of them have mentioned the Pope’s message as a source of inspiration.” More on South Kern Sol.
