MET students learn in both the classroom and the real world

The Met Charter High School in Sacramento is part of a system of schools nationwide. Big Picture Learning, the nonprofit that helps establish the schools, has an education philosophy that emphasizes building professional interests among students. By connecting them with college level classes and internships off campus, students are more likely to envision their future beyond high school, a future that motivates them to graduate. "While attending college, students can receive high school credits and college credits at the same time. Not many high schools in Sacramento allow their students to attend college while still enrolled." Read more about MET schools on Access Sacramento.met
