City spotlights human trafficking

“Think it doesn’t happen in America?” The tagline for the City of Sacramento’s campaign to shed light on the issue of human trafficking nationwide. But it also aims to show that, among American cities afflicted by this crime, California’s capital city is an epicenter. “Human trafficking is modern day slavery. It is the process of controlling a person with the intent to exploit them.” Read more, on Access Sacramento.
