How rainwater may help save Long Beach from drought

Cal State Long Beach students proposed a plan to help conserve water for sites in a community garden organization, Long Beach Organic. If approved, their prototypes for rainwater catchment systems and fog harvesters will be applied in nine community gardens in the city. “The program is important in that it explores sustainable ways to interact with our natural environment without dipping into already strained sources.” Find out more on Voicewaves.
