Battle over minimum wage looms in 2015

Efforts to raise state and federal minimum wages made for a contentious battle in 2014. Supporters say Americans need more to support themselves and their families. Opposers say raising hourly rates will threaten businesses and reduce the number of active employees. What remains to be decided in the year to come? “As wages continue to fall behind living costs, growing frustrations have brought this conversation to its tipping point.
