Initiative brings water stations to South Kern schools

This fall, hundreds of "Drink Up" water stations will be installed throughout schools and public spaces in South Kern and the Eastern Coachella valley.  The Drink Up initiative is a one-year pilot program that will install hydration stations and water fountains in schools and public spaces. The water initiative is one part of a county effort to address unsafe drinking water, namely risky levels of arsenic. “No matter who you are or where you live, you should be able to drink a glass of water in your school or neighborhood.” Read more on South Kern Sol.Screen Shot 2014-08-07 at 7.10.49 PM
