Rosie the Riveter still inspiring Richmond women

Hundreds Bay Area women came to Richmond to pay homage to the women who worked in Kaiser shipyards during World War II.  Rosie the Riveter has become a figure representing the redefining of women’s role in the workplace. "For just a few hours, there weren’t black women and white women and Asian women, old women and young women We were all just Rosie the Riveter, [coming] together for a common cause, just as I imagine the real Rosies did." The report is on Richmond Pulse.
